On 7 May 2009, eSafetyAware Secretary General Jacob Bangsgaard, spoke about eSafety technologies at the CIECA congress in Berlin. He encouraged the CIECA members to become more involved in the work of eSafetyAware, and invited the congress participants to the eSafety Challenge in Vallelunga/Italy (8/9 September 2009).
eSafetyAware took also part with an eSafety On Board exhibition, and presented information material on Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Lane Support Systems, Blind Spot Monitoring, Warning and Emergency Braking Systems, and Speed Alert to 160 delegates of the congress.
The 41st Congress of CIECA, the International Commission of Driver Testing Authorities, and its 47 member organisations worldwide, features three themes: Driver Assistance Systems; Driver training & education; and Driver testing: Research and Practice.
