Berlin 2009

On 7 May 2009, the eSafety On Board exhibition was present at the 41st congress of CIECA (the International Commission of Driver Testing Authorities) in Berlin. eSafetyAware Secretary General Jacob Bangsgaard, spoke about eSafety technologies and the impact they can have to decrease the number of fatalities on European roads. He also encouraged the CIECA members to become more involved in eSafety deployment activities, remarking that there is significant room for cooperation between eSafetyAware and CIECA members.

eSafety On Board was present with information material on Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Lane Support Systems, Blind Spot Monitoring, Warning and Emergency Braking Systems, and Speed Alert and was visited by the majority of the 160 delegates of the congress.
